Multifamily Real Estate
Multifamily Real Estate is exactly what it sounds like. It covers any building from a duplex to multi-unit apartment buildings. While they don’t always will serve as a place of residence, most of the time they are. Some examples of these are; all apartments, duplexes, triplexes, and quadraplexes.
Office Real Estate
Office real estate covers all office buildings categorized just like multifamily, low, mid, and high, based on their size.
Industrial
Industrial properties also very in size and what they do.
Heavy Manufacturing
This includes the bigger industrial sights with lots of machinery custom to that tenet.
Light Assembly
Much smaller than heavy manufacturing. Usually includes thing like storage facilities, assembly locations, and sometimes office space.
Warehouses
There are generally two types of warehouses, Flex and Bulk warehouses. Flex warehouses can easily be converted and be used for both office space and industrial sites. Bulk warehouses usually are close to highways, used for distribution, and are above 50,000 square feet.
Retail
Shopping Center
Smaller retail stores that are often paired with anchor tenants. Anchor tenants are larger stores, like a target, that serve to draw in customers.
Community Shopping Center
These are larger than shopping centers and have multiple anchor stores and sometimes they have restaurants.
Malls
Malls have a lot of anchor stores with a few small retail stores
Out Parcels
Pieces of land set aside, by the anchor tenets, for places like restaurants or banks.
Hotels
These Are usually located in business districts, Though the types differ from Extended living hotels to limited service hotels.
Mixed use
Mixed use buildings, while having their own category, are just two or more of the retail buildings above in one. The most common is a retail store or restaurant with offices above it.
Land
You have two main categories for land. You have Agricultural Land and Infill land. Agricultural land is unused land or some form of farm land. Infill land is land in a developed city but is now vacant. The other type of land is brownfield land and it is land that was used for industrial purposes but is now vacant.
